Details are below: Fiprospot for Cats is an easy to use treatment and/or prevention of infestations by fleas.Fiprospot Spot On for Cats can also be used as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis in cats. It can be used in kittens from 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 1kg. Dosage and administration: Apply topically to the skin. 1 pipette per cat; follow the instructions on the packet for correct application. Apply every four weeks to maintain flea cover. It is important to apply the dose to an area where the animal cannot lick off and ensure that treated animals do not groom each other after treatment until dry. Please NOTE: this product can be supplied only on a veterinary PRESCRIPTION to the Republic of Ireland. Drontal is for the treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms and tapeworms of cats. If you dont control a flea problem at the same time as worming, your cat is almost certain to be re-infected. There are about 8 different types of intestinal worm that can infect cats in the UK, and it is not always easy to spot the symptoms. Both Drontal Cat and Drontal Cat XL Tablets will kill every type of intestinal worm your cat is ever likely to get, and both will do so with a single dose, and without having to starve your cat first. The only difference is that Cat XL Tablets are specially formulated for cats between 4 - 6kg, so that most big cats can be treated with a single tablet. To avoid worms reaching maturity and affecting your pet's health, and to reduce public health risks, you should worm your pet regularly. Worming at least every three months with Drontal will reduce this risk, but ask your vet who will be able to evaluate your pet's health and your family's requirements and advise you on a specific worming routine for your pet. Dont forget the flea control! Fleas are often infected with the larvae of the Flea Tapeworm, which can be transferred to your cat by swallowing the flea while grooming. So in order to control worms, you also need to control fleas. A spot-on treatment is the easiest way to protect your cat but you may also need one that kills flea larvae in your pet's surroundings, to effectively break the flea lifecycle. Dosage: Give 1 drontal cat tablet orally per 4 kg bodyweight.
